Our room was really nice, bed was super soft, nice walk-in shower. Easy check-in and checkout. The restaurant was really good too. Would definitely stay again!

My bf and I were there last night for a romantic Valentines Dinner held in the Midnight Slip. This was my treat to him because he spoils me and one of the ways he does that is by cooking, which he does well. I hate to cook, lol! On the menu was prime rib w/an au jus sauce, chicken with pasta, mashed potatoes, carrots w/a bourbon glaze, roasted brussell sprouts and dinner rolls. I think that was it for dinner. For dessert, creme brulee and chocolate covered strawberries. I got a taste of everything and it was all delicious! I did feel bad for not eating all of my prime rib, but I was getting full and I needed room for dessert! We both were impressed with the look and feel of the Midnight Slip. Also, the host, server and chef were wonderful, too. To add to our special night, I was ready to pay for our dinner, but Cupid showed us some extra love and beat me to it. Thank you, Cupid! I hope there are more dinners like this in the future.

This is a review of the restaurant only: We came to Ste. Genevieve 2 weeks ago, during the snowstorm. The town received the most snow in the area, 13.8 inches! While many businesses closed their doors this weekend, Audubon's was open. We did not stay at the hotel, but we came for dinner on Saturday night. Rachel gave excellent service. I had the pork chop, and my date had the pork burger. The food was delicious, the service was prompt and friendly, and it was lovely to sit in the cozy dining room with the view of the snow falling in the moonlight on Main Street. I'm so happy Audubon's was open and we could enjoy a nice dinner during a frigid weekend. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
